Ticketly — Terms of Use

Effective Date: 10 September, 2026

Last Updated: 15 October, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ticketly ("Ticketly", "the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), a Discord support and ticket-management platform operated by BaconLight Studios™.

By adding Ticketly to a Discord server, accessing the Ticketly Dashboard, configuring Ticketly, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using Ticketly and remove the bot from any Discord server under your control.

1. Description of the Service

Ticketly is a Discord-based support platform designed to help Discord communities manage support requests.

Depending on the features currently available, Ticketly may allow authorized server administrators to:

  • Deploy support panels within Discord servers.
  • Allow members to create support tickets.
  • Create private ticket channels with configured access permissions.
  • Assign designated Discord roles to manage tickets.
  • Configure ticket activity log channels.
  • Maintain server-specific knowledge bases.
  • Configure questions, answers, and keywords for knowledge-base matching.
  • Provide automated suggestions when a ticket appears to match stored knowledge.
  • Manage Ticketly settings through the Ticketly Dashboard.
  • Authenticate through Discord OAuth.

Ticketly may display the names of Discord servers in which the bot is installed within the Dashboard. This information is used for service administration and to understand the number of Discord servers using Ticketly. Displaying a server name does not grant Ticketly or BaconLight Studios™ permission to administer, modify, or otherwise control that server. Server management remains subject to Discord's permissions and the authorization granted by the server's administrators.

Ticketly's features may be modified, expanded, restricted, suspended, or discontinued, subject to applicable law and any obligations that cannot legally be excluded.

2. Eligibility

You may use Ticketly only if you are legally capable of agreeing to these Terms under the laws applicable to you.

If you use Ticketly on behalf of a Discord server, community, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have sufficient authority to configure and use Ticketly on that server.

Ticketly does not currently require users to create a separate Ticketly account. Dashboard authentication is performed through Discord OAuth.

3. Discord Account and Authorization

Ticketly relies on Discord's platform and APIs to provide its functionality.

When you select "Continue with Discord" on the Ticketly Dashboard, you are redirected to Discord's authorization system. Ticketly requests the Discord OAuth scopes required for its dashboard functionality. Depending on the authorization granted, this may include access to your Discord identity and basic information about Discord servers associated with your account.

Ticketly does not receive or store your Discord password through the OAuth authentication process.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and for actions performed through your account.

4. Server Administrator Responsibility

Ticketly is primarily configured and controlled by Discord server administrators.

A person configuring Ticketly for a Discord server is responsible for ensuring that:

  • They have appropriate permission to administer the server.
  • Ticketly is configured appropriately.
  • The selected staff role is assigned only to appropriate members.
  • The configured log channel is suitable for ticket-related information.
  • Server members receive any notices required by applicable law concerning relevant data practices.
  • Personal or confidential information is not collected unnecessarily through tickets.
  • Knowledge-base content is accurate and lawful.
  • The use of Ticketly complies with applicable laws, Discord's rules, and the server's own rules.

Ticketly does not control the content submitted by individual Discord users or how server administrators use information obtained through Ticketly.

5. Ticket Content

Users may submit information when creating a support ticket. This information may include a question, problem description, or other content voluntarily provided by the user.

Ticket content may be accessible to:

  • The user who created the ticket.
  • The Ticketly bot, as necessary to provide its functionality.
  • Members with access to the ticket through the configured Discord permissions.
  • Server administrators or staff who otherwise have sufficient Discord permissions.

You should not submit passwords, payment-card information, authentication credentials, security codes, or other highly sensitive information through a Ticketly ticket unless there is a legitimate and lawful reason to do so.

Ticketly cannot control how server administrators or staff handle information that users disclose to them. Each party remains responsible for its conduct and obligations under applicable law.

6. Ticket Channels and Ticket Records

When a ticket is created, Ticketly may create a dedicated Discord channel with permission restrictions intended to limit access to the ticket owner, Ticketly, and the configured staff role.

When a ticket is closed, Ticketly may:

  • Mark the ticket as closed in its internal database.
  • Send a closing or activity log to the configured log channel, where applicable.
  • Delete the corresponding Discord ticket channel.

Deleting a Discord ticket channel does not necessarily mean that the corresponding internal Ticketly database record is immediately deleted.

Ticket records may therefore remain in Ticketly's database after the associated Discord channel has been deleted. Their continued storage and eventual deletion are subject to the applicable retention practices, Privacy Policy, and legal requirements.

Users may submit a data deletion request using the methods described in Section 19.

7. Knowledge Base

Ticketly allows server administrators to create server-specific knowledge-base entries.

A knowledge-base entry may contain:

  • A representative question.
  • A suggested answer.
  • Keywords or phrases used for matching.

Ticketly uses the configured entries to compare support requests against stored knowledge and provide relevant suggestions.

The resulting confidence or similarity indication is an estimate of the match, not a guarantee that the suggested answer is correct.

Server administrators are responsible for the accuracy, legality, appropriateness, and intellectual-property status of content they add to their knowledge bases. Ticketly may not independently verify that content.

8. Automated Suggestions

Ticketly may automatically analyze the text of a support request against knowledge configured by a server administrator. These results are intended solely as support suggestions.

Ticketly does not guarantee that:

  • A suggested answer will be correct.
  • A ticket will be classified correctly.
  • Every relevant ticket will be identified.
  • An irrelevant ticket will never be matched.
  • A confidence or similarity score accurately represents the real-world correctness of an answer.
  • Automated matching will always be available.

Users and server staff should exercise their own judgment when relying on automated suggestions.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Ticketly to:

  • Violate applicable law or regulation.
  • Violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or other applicable Discord policies.
  • Facilitate fraud, scams, harassment, threats, or abuse.
  • Distribute malicious software or harmful code.
  • Intentionally collect sensitive personal information without an appropriate lawful basis.
  • Impersonate Ticketly, BaconLight Studios™, Discord, or another person or organization.
  • Interfere with or attempt to compromise the Service.
  • Circumvent security mechanisms or access controls.
  • Intentionally overload or disrupt Ticketly or its infrastructure.
  • Use the Service to facilitate illegal activities.
  • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for unauthorized purposes.
  • Submit content that infringes another person's intellectual-property rights.
  • Use Ticketly in a manner that creates an unreasonable risk to the Service, BaconLight Studios™, Discord, or other users.

We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe the Service is being abused or used in violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

Ticketly, including its software, branding, interface, visual design, documentation, original code, logos, and other materials created by BaconLight Studios™, is owned by or licensed to BaconLight Studios™, unless otherwise stated.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of Ticketly or its underlying software. You may use Ticketly only as permitted by these Terms and the functionality made available by the Service.

Server administrators and users retain responsibility for content they submit to or through Ticketly, including knowledge-base questions, answers, keywords, and ticket-related content, subject to applicable law and any rights held by other parties.

By submitting content to Ticketly, you represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide it and that doing so does not violate applicable law or another person's rights.

11. Third-Party Services

Ticketly depends on third-party services and infrastructure, including Discord and hosting or infrastructure providers used to operate the Service.

Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's own terms, policies, and privacy practices.

Ticketly does not control the availability, security, policies, or functionality of third-party services. Changes, outages, restrictions, or failures affecting those services may affect Ticketly.

12. Service Availability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ticketly is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • Ticketly will always be available.
  • Ticketly will operate without interruption.
  • Every feature will remain available.
  • The Service will be error-free.
  • The Service will be compatible with every Discord configuration.
  • Ticket creation will always succeed.
  • Automated matching will always operate correctly.
  • Data will never be lost, corrupted, delayed, or unavailable.

Scheduled maintenance, technical failures, Discord API changes, hosting failures, security incidents, and other circumstances may temporarily affect the Service.

Nothing in this section excludes any guarantee or right that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Changes to the Service

We may modify Ticketly, subject to applicable law and any obligations that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes may include:

  • Adding or removing features.
  • Changing how existing features operate.
  • Changing Dashboard functionality.
  • Changing storage or technical architecture.
  • Introducing new limitations.
  • Changing eligibility requirements.
  • Discontinuing the Service or specific features.

Where appropriate, material changes may be reflected in an updated version of these Terms or the Privacy Policy.

14. Free Service

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Ticketly is currently provided without a mandatory subscription fee.

Being free of charge does not guarantee that Ticketly will remain free indefinitely.

We may introduce paid features, optional subscriptions, usage limits, or other pricing structures in the future. Any paid functionality introduced will be subject to the applicable pricing and terms presented at that time.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Ticketly where reasonably necessary because:

  • These Terms have been violated.
  • The Service is being abused or used unlawfully.
  • The Service presents a security or operational risk.
  • Continued access could harm other users or infrastructure.
  • Suspension is necessary for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.

Any suspension or termination remains subject to applicable law.

You may stop using Ticketly at any time by removing the bot from your Discord server and ceasing to use the Dashboard.

Removing Ticketly from a server does not automatically guarantee immediate deletion of previously stored database records. Data deletion requests may be submitted using the methods described in Section 19.

16. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ticketly is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, except where such warranties cannot legally be excluded.

We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of information produced through Ticketly's automated matching functionality.

Ticketly is a technical support-management tool. It is not a replacement for professional legal, medical, financial, security, or other professional advice.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BaconLight Studios™ and the individuals or service providers operating or supporting Ticketly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, Ticketly.

Where legally permitted, this includes losses relating to:

  • Interruption of service.
  • Loss of data.
  • Loss of access to Discord content.
  • Incorrect automated suggestions.
  • Unauthorized disclosure caused by a user's or administrator's actions.
  • Discord outages or changes.
  • Third-party service failures.
  • Server configuration errors.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful or unauthorized use of Ticketly, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit to or process through Ticketly.

This section does not require you to indemnify us where applicable law prohibits such an obligation.

19. Privacy and Data Deletion Requests

Your use of Ticketly is also governed by the Ticketly Privacy Policy, which explains what information is collected, how it is used, with whom it may be shared, and how long it is retained.

19.1 Information Processed by Ticketly

Depending on how you use the Service and the permissions granted, Ticketly may process information such as:

  • Discord account identifiers and basic profile information made available through authorized OAuth scopes.
  • Basic information about Discord servers in which Ticketly is installed, including server names displayed in the Dashboard.
  • Ticket content and associated ticket records.
  • Knowledge-base questions, answers, and keywords configured by server administrators.
  • Ticket activity records, transcripts, and configuration information required for the Service's functionality.

The specific information processed depends on the features used and the applicable configuration. Further details should be provided in the Privacy Policy.

19.2 Display of Discord Server Names

Ticketly may display the names of Discord servers in which it is installed within the Ticketly Dashboard.

This information is used to help monitor and understand Ticketly's deployment across Discord servers, including the number of servers using the Service.

Displaying a server name does not grant Ticketly or BaconLight Studios™ permission to administer, manage, modify, or control that Discord server. Ticketly's access and capabilities remain subject to Discord's authorization system, permissions, and applicable policies.

19.3 Requests for Personal Data Deletion

You may request the deletion of personal data associated with your use of Ticketly.

To submit a request, you may:

  • Send an email to support@baconlight.com; or
  • Visit https://baconlight.com/, open the Support section, complete the support form, and submit your request.

Please describe the data or records you would like reviewed for deletion. We may request reasonable additional information to verify your identity or confirm that you are authorized to make the request.

Submitting a deletion request does not automatically guarantee that all requested data will be deleted. Each request will be assessed in accordance with applicable data-protection laws, the circumstances of the request, and any applicable legal obligations or legitimate grounds for retaining information.

Where deletion is required by applicable law, the relevant personal data will be deleted in accordance with that law. Where a lawful exception applies, some information may need to be retained or the request may be refused in whole or in part. Where a request cannot be fulfilled, we will provide an explanation where required by applicable law.

The submission of a request does not, by itself, guarantee immediate deletion. Requests will be handled within the time limits required by applicable law.

19.4 Other Data Protection Rights

Depending on the laws applicable to you, you may have rights to request access to your personal data, correct inaccurate information, request erasure, restrict certain processing, object to certain processing, or obtain a portable copy of your data.

You may contact support@baconlight.com or use the Support form at https://baconlight.com/ to submit a request concerning these rights.

The availability and scope of each right depend on the applicable law and the circumstances of the processing.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The updated version will become effective when published, unless a different effective date is stated or applicable law requires otherwise.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide notice of material changes. Continued use of Ticketly after an updated version becomes effective will be treated as acceptance of the updated Terms only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

21. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, except where mandatory consumer-protection, privacy, or other applicable laws provide otherwise.

The competent courts of the Republic of Bulgaria shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Nothing in this section is intended to remove or limit any rights that cannot legally be waived.
